Data Security

Data is one of the most valuable assets in any business. And to properly protect that asset, Adiq works in a way to ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability.

your data is secure at Adiq!

We are committed to offering security so all our collaborators and customers can use our products and services in a secure manner.

Our goal is to assure data protection against potential threats that may damage your operation; therefore, Adiq complies with internal and federal legal and normative regulations to remain aligned with data security best practices.

Continuous improvement is a practice adopted in our Data Security area, always looking to enhance our products, services and processes. Below you will find some of the practices we adopt and hints on how you can take preventive actions.

second security layer with multifactor authentication

In addition to a login password, Adiq uses Multifactor Authentication, which is an authentication method that requires using more than one verification mode, offering a higher level of security, and checking the user identity.

It is simple to use, the code sent to your mobile is individual and temporary, there is no need for Wi-Fi, it does not consume data and works even when your mobile is off-line, all to verify your identity.

Update your phone number in our portals, so you make sure to receive your login validation.

Hint: Never provide the code generated in your SMS to anyone. Adiq does NOT send links requesting login passwords, registration data, token, card photo, your International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) or updates.

keep an eye on frauds

Fraud is a tort characterized by using bad faith to obtain benefits for the person him/herself or to others.

Some practices used for fraud:

Social Engineering

Social engineering is a method of attack in which someone tries to persuade somebody else, often abusing the user naivety or trust in order to get information that may be used to provide non-authorized access to computers or data.

Hint: Be aware of contacts through email or telephone of people alleging they work at Adiq.

Phishing

Phishing is a type of fraud in which a malicious person tries to “fish” customer information through a fake Web page.

Fake Web pages have the same characteristics (logo, colors, descriptions) as Adiq actual Web pages, but when customers enter their information it is submitted directly to the malicious person.

Watch out when you log in to Adiq portals, look carefully at the website URL you are visiting, and look for the padlock symbol next to the Web page address. If you are not sure, call our hotline number (0800).

Be suspicious of fake Web pages and keep your anti-virus software program updated.

Adiq adopts procedures and technologies to protect your information and make your experience more user friendly.

However, you should be aware and adopt preventive measures in your daily routine to prevent frauds.

Frauds on the Internet and your Mobile

Adiq will never request your password or SMS code out of the portal environment, or request your data through email. In case you receive any request of that kind, do not open it!

Be careful with virtual cards, collections and other suspicious emails

Be suspicious when you receive messages offering anti-virus software updates, SPC and Serasa collections, debt consultation, virtual cards bearing the name of someone you are acquainted with, news from websites you have never registered in and notifications with fake news or sales you cannot miss.

Also, be aware of emails sent on behalf of Adiq requesting update or protection synchronization. That type of email is often used as a bait to install malicious software programs in your computer, which steal your data or direct you to a fake Website in our portal.

Make sure you are using a secure device

Do not make any bank transaction in any unknown or public mobiles, tablets or other devices, especially in LAN houses and cyber cafes.

Keep your anti-virus software program updated and active in your computer, mobile and tablet, and run scans regularly, to ensure your device protection is always updated.

To leave Adiq portal, click “Logout” and check whether the session is really inactive.

keep security against virus

Virus is a computer software program, or part of a computer software program, usually malicious, that propagates adding copies of itself and becoming part of other programs and files inside your computer.

To be activated and continue the infection process, the virus depends on the software program execution, i.e.; to infect your computer, an infected software program has to be executed.

As Adiq cannot guarantee the security of customer computers, keep your device secure by regularly updating your anti-virus software program.

Phishing is also a way to propagate virus, so be aware of hints to avoid Phishing, published on our Website.

Secure Website Certificate (SSL)

The secure website certificate is a padlock that appears in the address bar at Adiq website indicating you are in a secure area.

The certificate is issued by an authorized certification body and will appear on your screen confirming its authenticity. It is a way to make sure you are navigating on a secure website.

Always pay attention whether the padlock is showing on Adiq portal and website when you log in.
